New Dress Looks For Prom 2024

We couldn't wait to launch our latest collection back in September, and the response has been absolutely phenomenal! The love and appreciation pouring in for our new range has been wonderful to see as we put our hearts into curating what we believe is the most stunning array of dresses yet.

Whilst it may seem a bit too early to be thinking about prom, now is the perfect moment to dive into prom paradise and start planning your show-stopping look for the big night!

Why do I need to shop for my prom dress early?

If you've been following us for some time, you might remember our past blogs advocating for early prom dress shopping. We can't stress it enough – buying early is the key to securing your dream dress.

In case you missed it, here's a quick reminder of why getting ahead of the game is so important:

Style exclusivity

When you order early, you'll get first dibs on the latest styles! By getting your appointment booked ahead of time, you get access to our extensive collection, allowing you to choose from a variety of sizes, colours, and styles and avoiding being limited by what others at your school have already purchased.

Best prices and payment plans

Planning ahead for your prom attire not only helps you stick to your budget but also enables you to take advantage of potential sales. Ordering early allows you to access affordable dresses starting from just £50 and opt for interest-free payment plans, making your dream dress more financially manageable.

Secure a private room

Booking your appointment in advance ensures you get the space you need, especially if you require a quieter and more accommodating environment due to sensory needs or personal preferences. Lily’s aims to accommodate every shopper's comfort, so advance notice helps us prepare accordingly.

Try before you buy

Avoid the last-minute rush and disappointment of online purchases by scheduling your appointment early. Visiting the store allows you to try on various dresses, discovering unexpected favourites and ensuring a perfect fit!

Leave time for alterations

Booking early grants you ample time for any alterations you require. Lily’s offers tailoring services but requires dress purchase before January's end as it gives us plenty of time to alter your dress.

What’s new for 2024?

This season is extra special; we're buzzing with excitement here! We’re all about staying ahead of the curve, and whilst we've always adored our classic plain dresses, this year's collection is out-of-this-world. The level of enthusiasm and sales we're witnessing has left us floored, and we’re grateful to everyone who has picked us for their prom dress.

In 2024 we’re predicting it’ll be the rise of the glitz and glam, with lots of bold bright colours, dreamy pastels, and a generous sprinkle of sequins. From radiant reds to mesmerising blues, this season's palette is alive with bold, bright colours that captivate attention effortlessly.

If bold colours just aren’t your thing, good news because pastels are also having a moment in the spotlight. They offer a softer yet equally captivating aesthetic and look beautiful on a range of different skin tones. And of course, you can’t have glitz and glam without some sparkle, curtesy of sequins and embroidery work. From subtle accents to full-on shimmer, these glittering details are guaranteed to draw all eyes your way.

One thing we've always prided ourselves on is offering a diverse selection of gorgeous dresses at reasonable prices; in other words, you don't have to break the bank to look like a million bucks. With over 500 styles to choose from and most dresses available in sizes 000-26, trust us when we say that we firmly believe we've got the crème de la crème of dresses waiting for you.
